The best in slow release

Lebanon Turf Products®, world leader in the field of turf fertilizers, in association with Herbatech®, presents an innovative line of fertilizer suited for the European professional turf market.

COMPOSITE TECHNOLOGY®
Composite Technology® is a new exclusive granulation process of Lebanon®. Slow release nitrogen ingredients Meth-Ex 40® are fused with phosphorus, potassium and micronutrients, creating a completely homogeneous compounded microgranule. After application the elements NPK dissolve in the same quantitative equilibrium of the initial formula. The Composite Technology® granule has a higher Nitrogen Activity Index (AI) than any homogeneous NPK fertilazer to date. Over 90% of the nitrogen will be released within 8-12 weeks fromapplication.

METH-EX 40®
Meth-Ex 40® is the methylene urea ingredient of the slow release fertilizer line Country Club® of Lebanon®.
It is the best methylene urea available today on the world market. Its peculiarity consists in having a very high fraction of short chain methylene ureas that are solubilized and become available to the plant, through the combined action of soil microorganisms and hydrolysis, within 8-12 weeks from application. The research carried on by Lebanon® permits with Meth-Ex 40® to obtain the highest short chain methylene urea percentage to date (21,74% compared with 14,55% of competing products). Also within the long chain methylene urea, the percentage available to the plant, the hot water soluble nitrogen (HWSN) is superior to any other competing methylene ureas.

MESA®
SLOW RELEASE AMMONIUM SULPHATE

Mesa is the new technology of Lebanon® which combines ammonium sulphate and methylene urea in a unique homogeneous formulation. Ammonium sulphate crystals are incorporated into a methylene urea matrix (Meth-Ex 40) with high acitvity index. To a gradual release by solubilization and microbial activity of Meth-Ex 40® corresponds a gradual ammonium sulphate dissolution, that guarantees from the very beginning a constant growth, a brilliant green colour and no phitotoxicity risk.
Mesa is not a coated fertilizer but a homogeneous product. Therefore, there are not risks of granule’s accidental breaking that can provoke uncontrollable urea’s releases (so-called leopard spots).

PIN: the crucial test

In order to have a scientific quality measurement of the Composite Technology® granulation process, Lebanon® laboratories have developed the PIN (Performance Index Number), an impartial scientific method which measures the following parameters:
P : Particle dispersion index
I : Granular integrity index
N : Nitrogen Activity Index
(HWSN hot water soluble nitrogen percentage)
The PIN of a fertilizer shows in a single number, such as 250, the sum of the percentages derived froms the dispersion, integrity and nitrogen activity indexes.

250 the total of the P, I and N of a fertilizer for a PIN of 250. 300 is the highest possibile PIN, although anything 235 and higher is acceptable.

P: (particle dispersion)
I: (integrity)
N: (nitrogen activity index or AI)
Measures how quickly moisture breaks the product down into smaller particles after application. The smallest the particle is, the less likely is to be picked up by mowing equipment. Indicated by numbers between 0 to 100. Look for products with a minimum P of 80.
Measures product hardydness. The harder the product, less likely is its breakdown during shipping, handling and application. Optimally, this results in less breakage and dust. Look for products with a minimum of 90.
Measures the amount of available WIN. The higher the nitrogen activity index, the more efficient and cost effective the nitrogen content. Look for products with a minimum N of 65.

C O U N T RY C L U B®
Slow release fertilizer for turf nutrition in stressful conditions (summer-winter)
12 - 0 - 18- + 2,5MgO+Fe+Mn (green)
Stimulates vegetative response during critical summer and winter periods with optimal aesthetic results
The high potassium concentration favours plants resistance to summer pithium, winter fusarium, frost and drought by strengthening grass cell walls
Can be distributed on potassium and magnesium deficient soils in any period of the year

C O U N T RY C L U B®

Slow release microgranular fertilizer for top quality golf greens
18-0-18+Fe+Mn (green)

Studied for ultra low cut, high wear golf greens, particularly those seeded with the new bentgrass varieties
Contains more than 65% of its nitrogen in a short chain methylene urea, with the highest PIN today available from Lebanon®
The NK I:I ratio guarantees a constant release of these nutrients increasing in the same time vigour, density and overall colour.

C O U N T RY C L U B®
Rapid response fertilizer for early spring and late summer green up
16-0-8+Fe+Mn (green)

Rapid effect formulation, produces a dark green colour effect within 5-6 days from application
Its acid chemical composition, from ammonium sulphate, inhibits Poa annua and moss development
Summer applications of Country Club 16-0-8 + Fe have proven very effective in summer patch and Anthracnose prevention

C O U N T RY C L U B®
Excellent formulation for newly established or overseeded turfgrass areas
10 - 18 - 18 + 2,5MgO +Fe+Mn (green)

Its Composite Technology® process achieves a distinctively high particle dispersion characteristic, that permits an immediate dissolution after irrigation or rainfall
Rapid phosphorous and ammoniacal nitrogen response after application is very important for starter fertilization in the critical germination phase; potassium and slow release nitrogen content increases turf vitality after germination, improving noticeably turf postgerminative stress resistance
Homogeneous particle-composition analysis, rich in meso and microelements such as magnesium, sulphur, iron and manganese

MESA®
Slow release ammonium sulphate fertilizer
19-0-19-+3Fe+Zn (fairway)

R evolutionary fertilizer with high agronomic quality for sports grounds, gardens, tees and golf fairways.
Combining in a unique granule methex 40 and ammonium sulphate, thanks to nitrogen gradual and costant release, provides the right nutrients for turf in all weather and temperature conditions.
The iron high percentage provides an excellent brilliant green colour soon after application.
Over 60% of the nitrogen will be released within 75 days from application.
